With a background in retail automobile sales, Robert W. Smith,
Chairman and CEO of the Listener®
Group , knew that the way to improve dealership sales was
to improve customer relationships. He founded AutoList®
in 1988 to provide marketing services to dealers … a
way to reach out, establish and maintain relationships beyond
the dealership showroom.
As a natural outgrowth of this activity, Robert founded AutoListener®
in 1992. AutoListener® has grown to become the nation’s
leading provider of telephone follow-up services to automobile
dealers nationwide. The company offers four primary services
